<sorry to hear you are sick, Willie, hope you get better soon>

I finally am sitting down to really think about this. I think we have
about $2500 in the treasury (Willie, is that right?). I think we have
the following projected outlays in the next 2-6 months:

$500 Bike to work day
$500 (or more) Jerseys (hopefully covered by sponsors)
$500 socks (hopefully will long-run make a profit)
$300 various affiliations -- League of Am. Bicyclists, TBC, Adv. Cycling
	(http://www.bikeleague.org, http://www.biketexas.org,
	http://www.adventurecycling.org)

I am hoping the Jerseys and socks will, in the end, be profitable, but
that might not be immediate. We will also do pre-orders on the
jerseys. We are going to want some "club stock" on the jerseys for
sure. I'd prioritize this pretty far above "club stock" on shorts.

We should have some money come in from jersey sponsors before we do
the jerseys. We historically get a bunch of new/renewing memberships
in the spring/summer. I was hoping we'd do some spring training
rides, which also usually brings a small amount of money into the
treasury.

I'd like to keep a base reserve in the treasury of $500-$1000. It
sounds like this should all work out (even spending $500 on shorts)
from the numbers above, and assuming we get some income, as noted
above.

Id like to know if there is anyone out there who is still thinking
"maybe" on the shorts -- if everyone who is likely to want shorts has
already spoken, then there is no sense in having a reserve.

So ... anyone still thinking "maybe I want some shorts, but I'm just
not positive..." (and if so, what size are you?)
