Hank Seidel was asked and agreed to assist with htmlHTML BTWD 2006.
Wildflower Wanderings bike ride THIS Sunday, March 12. Meet at 12:30 and leave at 1pm from Snook High School. There are loops of various lengths. This is unsupported so bring spare tube, patch kit, pump, food, fluids, sunscreen, camera and money. See the website for the map.
Bike Ed class

Ride of Silence Wed., May 17th, 7pm. Meet at the Barbara Bush Conference Center on George Bush Drive. Wear a black arm band in memory of a cyclist killed by a vehicle while riding. Wear a red arm band if you or someone you know has been injured by a vehicle while riding. The ride is free, slow and silent. See http://www.rideofsilence.org/main.php for more information.
The Inaugural Brazos Valley Senior Games happen this April 20-23 with CYCLING events occurring April 8-9. You must be age 50+ to participate but all volunteers are welcome. See www.bvsrgames.org for entry forms and information.
Lastly, Jean Marie, president and web-mistress has developed a web posting policy due to a great influx of emails from members and cycling organizations. If you feel that something is important enough to share with all members, post it to BVC-Chat to get the word out. Better yet, show up to meetings and share your enthusiasm.
Respectfully submitted,
Regina Hokanson
