Why are you guys afraid to include the 'sweating with the oldies' (aka bvcers) in this so-called showdown? I know why? Defeat is hard to eat as is crow.

I assume that most of you know about our impending showdown against the tri team, here are the details.

The date is Saturday the 18th @ 12:30. The course will be a nine mile out and back TT on FM166 (http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=533106).

Notice how I synchronized the location and time to coincide with where we'll all be on the return leg of the Saturday flagpole ride. The perfect warm-up.

Rules and awards:
The overall will be determined by averaging the times of the top three riders. Additionally, five seconds will be deducted from the average for every rider on the team who competes. That means we need EVERYONE to come out and help BEAT THE HECK OUTTA THE TRI TEAM.

There will be additional schwaggy type awards for the top overall male and female, as well as awards for the top two or three riders from each group.

Award ceremony to follow immediately afterwards in the Twisters parking lot.

The tri team is camping at Lake Bryan that night, so we thought it would be cool if we had a social at the Hook that evening, please plan to attend.

If anyone is interested in helping me create a commemorative t-shirt, shoot me an email. (please, someone help me, the tri-nerds are already counting on it)

Let's get it on, etc.
