[BVC-CHAT] A newbie's $0.02 re. today's Pole Ride

I had flat #4 today at the Carlos store.  *&^#$!@.  But it was a nice
ride.  John Rauser and a friend (sorry, Fred?  name escapes me ... )
were out to do an easy B ride.  The guys rode mellow/talking pace to
Wm Fitch, where John and his friend turned off, then moderate ... at
least to Carlos.  I dropped off at Carlos, went up Mt. Pleasant, then
2 miles past (to make sure I got 40 in ... I forgot to set an alarm
this morning ... I had to take the car to Shellron ... I was mildly
embarrassed by that!).  They caught me on the inbound leg just as I
was pulling back into the Shellron.

I think new person Gregory had a good ride ... he was still with them
on the return.  ;)

I enjoyed a favorite Sunday indulgence: reading the Sunday paper at
the Carlos store ... before realizing I had the flat ...
