I suggested the out and back because Macey is *really* smooth and
largely devoid of trafic, whereas OSR is rougher, has no shoulder, and
the traffic volume is higher.  I'd still prefer Macey, though I'm not
dead set against your suggestion.  However, if we scuttle the out and
back, I'd suggest turning at Edge School House instead, which cuts the
OSR stretch roughly in half.
