Sorry to hear Jean-Marie is sick but I'll be there & I've been promoting it among my colleagues for the past couple of days. Whether they'll bother to show up is questionable.
Yes, this is not as 'interesting' as riding my bike but it IS one way to get cycling/accessibility issues into the public record. There will be 3 more of these meetings. I talked with someone from the city who remarked that they had low expectations for much citizen involvement or input at these open meetings. Whether this will be the case or not and WHO will take a few minutes on a Wednesday evening to make a comment or two is up to those of us who understand that advocacy involves showing up.
I'm also advocating greenways extensions and acquisitions.

Subject: BVC-CHAT Bond meeting tonight
There's a bond meeting tonight at 7 at the Conference Center at Geo.
Bush and Holik.
I originally said I would be there, but I am sick. I am not going to be there.
If you are in support of using bond money for bicycling, I would
encourage you to attend and speak up, the CIC committee members are
gathering citizen input at these meetings.
