BVC-CHAT Too cold to exercise?

I rode for an hour and a half this morning from 6am to 7:30am (33F). My base
layer was soaked when I got home, yet I had a large red patch on my stomach
where my skin had gotten cold, as well as large red areas on the front of my
legs.
By the way, I tried the 74 cent Academy toe warmers, and they were very
effective at keeping the bottom of my toes warm. Unfortunately, I will need
to use them on the top as well. The top of my toes were numb where I got
home.
