Agenda: Property Taxes - proposed rate 45¢ per $100 value.  The average
taxable value of a residence homestead in College Station last year was
$180,320.  Based on last year's tax rate of 43.94¢, the average tax bill was
$792.  It the rate of 45¢ is adopted, the average tax bill would rise to
$876.  If the rate of 42.31¢ is adopted, the average tax bill would be $823.
Both the latter averages take into account a rise of $14.338 in average
