It's a big loop, so whatever you're fighting against, you'll have working
for you most of the time. 16.5 is a pretty casual pace overall. If you're
riding single-speed, that's pedaling on the flats and uphills, coasting on
the downhills.
Greg - I saw on your facebook a pic of you riding a fixie. You'd love
riding this. Staying in the same gear for 4+hours really burns up the legs.
Sorry for saying "cheating" earlier. That's why I put it in quotes in the
first place. I know it's not cheating. I've had my ass dropped when
drafting more times than not. I'ma very average cyclist.
We can debate what it's like all day long on the interwebs. Just come out
and give it a try and then you'll know for sure!
