As Greg Marconi mentioned in his message, the A&M cycling team is in
need of volunteers this coming Saturday, especially in the afternoon
from 2:00pm. Here's the event flyer:

Note that one could do the full Saturday Caldwell ride, stop at Sweet
Eugene's for coffee and a scone and still make it to the race in
plenty of time to volunteer as follows:

Throw a towel and change of clothes in your car and drive yourself and
your bike to Sweet Eugene's, arriving by 8:30. Lock car, ride to the
flagpole. Hammer (or whatever you please). Arrive Sweet Eugene's
~12:30. Refuel between 12:30 and 12:50. Towel off and change into
civvies in the bathroom at Sweet Eugene's. Drive to the course.
Volunteer.

I drove the lead vehicle for the Men's A race last year with my
faithful sidekick the Dykemator and it was really fun. I will
volunteer again this year, schedule permitting. Come on out and give
the team and local cycling a hand.
