Anybody on this list familiar with route 1774 from Anderson to Piedmont?
I ask because the next Brazos Locavores field trip (announcement
attached) is to a farm just north of Piedmont on Sunday, April 19.
I was wondering if a group of riders would be up for going down there,
touring the farm at 1:00, and riding back (or catching a SAG wagon from
the farm).
It would be a total of about 80 miles round trip, I think (about 25 from
B-CS to Anderson plus about 13 more from Anderson to the farm).
I've ridden the Anderson Loop only and my memory is that the road
through Anderson is not bike-friendly, but that's route 90 and you'd
turn off of 90 in Anderson to head southeast on 1774 toward Piedmont.
So any description of 1774 between Anderson and Piedmont would be
appreciated.
Thanks,
