Hey BVC!
There is a wonderful company called My Alibi taking pledges through
Kickstarter.com for the next 4 days. My Alibi makes "active apparel for
women riding bikes" and was started by a personal friend, Abbie Durkee (who
happens to be one hell of a cyclist...) in Des Moines, Iowa. The designs
are innovative, classy and pretty functional... it is almost unheard of in
our lycra world!

If you aren't familiar with Kickstarter, it works as a pledge system. You
aren't "just" donating to the company, rather pledging to purchase a
product. If the company reaches its goal, you've made your purchase and get
the product! If the goal isn't reached... nothing happens except the
company has to find another route to raise awareness of their product...
sad.
So anyway...I don't mean to spam the bvc chat email with "stuff you should
buy!" but felt this was something that some of you may be interested in, or
a way you can help support a better incorporation of cycling and lifestyle.
check out some more photos of products in the works here:

Thanks!
