BVC food drive?

When I was at KBTX to promote Power Pedal recently, the station manager
there suggested that BVC might like to show up en masse to the annual
food drive (Wed Dec 11) at the Brazos Center. He indicated that if we
all showed up during the morning broadcast on our bikes there would be a
very good chance of being featured/interviewed (I think things are a
little quieter in the morning than during the evening). Apparently the
local Harley group does something like this each year. Anyway, it might
be a good chance to do something good for others and get a bit of
publicity at the same time.

I've pasted below information about the event. Anyone interested in
doing this? If so, let me know what time you'd prefer during the
5:30-10:00 a.m. time slot (remember it will be dark until after 7 by
then). If there are at least 10 of us willing to go, I'll announce a
meeting place where we can assemble to ride together. Depending how far
away our assembly point is from the Brazos Center, I expect that it will
take about an hour, all told, to ride in, do the drop off and ride back.

If we do this, I think we might object to it being called a food *drive*.
