Great job, Jonathon!  And to everyone else who was able to be there.
Wish I could have gone but sent my bike instead...  What a positive
experience for the officials involved and a great way to start/continue
a conversation about biking.  And you picked a perfect day to have the

Thanks and applause to Jonathan for putting together the weekend's
political pedal.  We had 17 cyclists out on Sunday, including at least
3 or 4 politicos, a bike cop, two tandems, and a juvenile ... as well
as the Eagle:

Jonathan deserves particular kudos for putting the event together.

I should have thought to have someone teach those borrowing bikes how
to shift gears before we started ... next time.
