[BVC-INFO] Weekend Riding

I'll be out at the Flagpole looking for a B group on Saturday. I hope
to have some company; now that the weather is nicer, it should be an
especially nice ride. I'll try to call the B's together so we have a
chance to say "Hi" to each other. I'm going to ride with the fast
group as long as I can, then group up with other B's after I get
removed from the back of their group. There is a small chance I will
continue on to Caldwell if I stay with that group long enough or if
there are other Bs interested in the longer ride.

If you are knocked off the fast group, take a look behind you and
consider grouping up with anyone who is within a few hundred yards of
you (I'll do this). Much more fun to ride with people than alone.
Some good spots to stop and group up are the stop sign at FM 166 and
FM 2039 and the turn onto FM 1362 from FM 166.

Forgive me for being pedantic, but if you are planning on the ride,
you need helmet, water, food, money, and a flat change kit. Knowing
the route or bringing a map is also a really good idea.

----

I'm also interested in a Sunday ride, prefer morning, if anyone else
is interested. Sunday meetup point is the Shellron at Hwy 6 and Hwy
30. I will propose 9 am for a 40-50 mile ride. I ride about 15 mph
if left to my own devices. I will be at the Shellron if at least one
other person agrees to meet me.

That said, my laptop died so I may be away from the computer, so feel
free to call me to arrange Sunday riding. 979 693-9424.
