[CL] First set of ISO 24707 (Common Logic) defects posted

Please check the website cl.tamu.edu for the first set of defect  
reports on 24707:2007. There are twelve of them. As you'll see, they  
all have Pat's name on them, although many of you have contributed to  
the discussions.

PLEASE take some time to look over the official standard. If we can  
get changes to them quickly, it is possible that ISO will be willing  
to re-publish the standard with the corrections, eliminating much  
hassle for readers/users. Get me your changes BY THE END OF JANUARY

Some of you have already looked over the standard and suggested  
changes. Thanks very much for your help. If you have time, please look  
it over again, BY THE END OF JANUARY.

Some of you will promise yourselves to look at 24707 "sometime soon".  
At the end of January, I will announce that you have a week before my  
(now extended) deadline and with complete surprise, you will complain  
about having to meet my arbitrary deadlines.
