Hm, certainly not seeing this on my Intel Macbook and HP inkjet.  The
PDF document prints perfectly, and quickly, from Adobe Reader.  I only
tried printing pages pp. 14-15 (22-23/79), but those seem as
representative as any; the printed hard copy exactly matches what I see
in the reader.
