Board meeting?Hi Eric,

Yes, I did attend, although I missed the first part because I didn't know that the location was moved to Forest Ridge Elementary.  They are currently recruiting for the Growth 2 committee (I assume that's the committee to look into future new middle and secondary schools - they didn't call it that at the meeting).  They passed around a list of possible members (people the administration had contacted and who had agreed to serve is asked), and the Board approved a motion to allow the administration to include those people plus others who would be added at the administration's discretion (and in response to suggestions) to make sure the demographics are representative.  They said they were running a bit behind on this because of the focus on budget uncertainty due to what's happening (and not happening) in Austin.

I plan to write up a full report on the part of the meeting I attended this evening.
