[CSPS] another suggestion for meeting

I concur with this enthusiastically. These cuts had a major impact this
school year - fewer spots for kids in the GT programs, and dropping French
for the incoming 7th graders. These are happening now and need to be
addressed before the district assumes they are acceptable to the community
as a whole. And before they sets their sights on other art, music, and
language programs.

Subject: [CSPS] another suggestion for meeting

This from Arvind (whose messages to csps listserv are bouncing :-)

I would like to suggest an additional concern:

Cuts made in the Gifted and Talented program in elementary and intermediate
schools and planned cuts in the foreign language program in the middle
school. These entail small savings but significant opportunity costs.
