Special Opportunity: See Shapleigh School Finance Presentation at the Capitol with United Methodist Women

As part of this year's Texas United Methodist Women's 
Legislative Event, Senator Eliot Shapleigh will deliver his 
school finance presentation "Invest in the Future, Invest in 
Our Kids" in the Capitol Auditorium on Monday, January 24 
from 2 to 3 pm. The United Methodist Women and Texas 
Impact are pleased to extend an invitation to the public to 
attend the presentation.

The Capitol Auditorium is located on the upper level of the 
Capitol Extension near the Capitol cafeteria and gift shop. 
Free two-hour parking is available in the Capitol visitors' 
parking garage located at 13th Street and San Jacinto.

The Texas United Methodist Women's Legislative Event is a 
national model program that brings United Methodist Women 
from across Texas to Austin for 3 days to learn about 
legislative issues and lobby. This is the 17th year for the 
event and marks the first time the UMW has invited the 
public to attend any part of the event.
