Friends:

Beatriz Arnillas, a local artist and art teacher at Blinn, has some really 
good contacts for arts and education advocates. . .and would be interested, 
I think, in helping to coordinate some discussion among local artists about 
beginning some kind of "artists in the schools" activity.

She's spearheading the organization of an affiliation of local artists right 
now.

If anyone is interested in pursuing this (what I think is a wonderful
