[CSPS] seeking endorsements for prayer ad

In many attempts, I have never been able to get the Congregation Beth Shalom
to speak for all of its members (not a bad thing.) I believe that
Councilwoman Berry, who voted for this measure, is a member. I didn't mean
to be presumptuous, but neither did I want to stir conflict.
The issue of group endorsements has come up in the course of writing the
letter, as we were considering what a particular group would or would not
want in the letter. We decided that, unless we could take all who will sign
into consideration, we should not take any in. Further someone of us
decided that the signatures of individuals would stand stronger if groups
were not included. Groups can endorse this effort by encouraging their
members to sign and contribute.
