[DP-Announce] Execution today: Race to executions, Governor Perry wins!

  today is an important date in the "race to executions" in the State of Texas.
   
  With the upcoming execution of Ryan Dickson, Governor Perry will officially pass former Governor Bush's record of 152 executions during his term in office. 

Bush: 152 people killed. 
Perry: 153 people killed and counting.... 
Two records founded on the back of the mentally retarded, juveniles, the mentally ill, the innocent, the poorly defended..." 

  If executed, Ryan Dickson will be the 12th death row inmate to be executed in Texas in 2007. It will be the 392nd execution in Texas since 1982; and it will be the 153rd execution for Perry since 2001.
   
  Please consider showing in numbers at today's vigil at the Corner of Walton and Texas Ave.
