[DP-Announce] Execution today, 8/30

Pending action by the U.S. Supreme Court or by Gov. Rick Perry, Kenneth
Foster will be executed today.  This execution is particularly disturbing as
Kenneth Foster did not commit murder; he was tried and convicted under the
misapplied Law of Parties.  If you receive *The Eagle*, be sure to read
today's excellent editorial "State may execute an innocent man."

Please join us in our protest of Kenneth Foster's execution.  We will meet
at the corner of Walton and Texas for a vigil between 5:30 and 6 p.m.  We
will try to send out an announcement if there is a stay of execution, so
check your email before coming .

If you have a yard sign, please post it today.
