[DP-Announce] Vigil on Thursday, Meeting next Wednesday

On Thursday April 30 Derrick Johnson is scheduled to be executed.  
Please join us for a vigil at the corner of Texas Ave. and Walton.  
At least one of the regulars (i.e. me) will not be there, so if 
you're able to make it out your helping hand will be particularly 
appreciated.

Next Wed. May 6, the Brazos Valley chapter of the Texas Coalition to 
Abolish the Death Penalty will meet at the 7:00 p.m. at the Blue 
Baker restaurant on Dominik (the old one).  All are very welcome.  I 
will be giving an update on death penalty related legislation 
currently before the Texas Legislature and we'll discuss upcoming 
activities.
