The other organizer was John Holder. What a wonderful and affective event
they put together! The speakers were great as was the music, the crowed was
large and enthusiastic the media was there. Even the weather was impressive.
I don't think that the organizers could have done a better job. I also don't
think that there was anyone in the crowed listening to bold proclamations of
progressive perspectives who wasn't thinking; "wow, is this really happening
in College Station?" And if that wasn't enough to give us a strong sense of
the progressive potential that we have, the passing motorists whom where
overwhelmingly supportive was a clear indication that events like this can
really make a difference. - Hugh
