Hi Cecelia,
The Eagle has not yet fully determined what is enough for
"verification" - I am learning a lot as I do this! The best that I can tell
you at this point is that emails will suffice, including those that have
been forwarded to me. What we can't accept at this point is a phone call - I
need something I can show to the newspaper. I had one person email me and
say - "someone told me to include their name" and I have requested that
individual to either email or handwrite their expressed permission.
They may decide that they want phone numbers to call each person - but the
person I am working with didn't think that would be required, and thinks the
emails will be enough. It seems that this is a new thing for them also, and
I am working closely with a contact there to get as clear as we can about
the process. I hope this helps.
If you want to post this to the Progressive List, or other lists, or forward
this on, please do so!

Thanks for your help,
Danita
