Chris (and anybody else who might volunteer),

If you can put some effort into it, I would be
willing to write up a proposal to send to
Carol H.  But we have to prepare that ASAP,
since the deadline is May 2.

The most serious effort will come when we get
papers submitted by people who want to give talks.
That means we woud need some people to review
papers.  But even more important, we would need
a program chairperson to handle the submissions.

Basically, we would need to put together 3 days
worth of interesting sessions.  Some of that would
be handled by invited speakers who would present
the basic work that has been done so far, and I
think that we can already guess many of the
usual suspects.

There are also many people outside our little
group we would like to see work on the CL stuff
-- for example, the Z, UML, etc., gang.

But we should also make some provision for
accepting submitted papers by people who might
read the material on the CL web site and make
some interesting proposals that we had never
seriously considered.

Any further thoughts, suggestions, etc.?
