Pat,

I apologize for my racial slurs on the semantic
webbers.

But please note my subsequent note, which shows
that they do use the word "ontology" in the more
restricted way I have recommended:  as a set of
sentences "used to define terms" -- i.e., they
are continuing to observe the KL-ONE distinction
between the T-box and the A-box.

I, along with Bill and Tanel, merely observed
that a set of sentences can also be used for
making assertions as well as defining terms.
