that first thing.  i came home from going out to see "lord of the rings 3"
and there were 16 messages from the scl list in my mailbox -- it was a long
movie, but golly gollum, it aint my vollum this time -- and i picked on yours
as being the most articulate in pointing to the problem, but i'm still just
trying to figure why i'm hearing what sounds like a recuuring echo of all
the issues from early in the last millennium ... so maybe you can help.
