[SCL] activities warm-up

Tanel,

Things are actually going very well.  Pat Hayes, Chris Menzel,
and I were all in Santa Fe last week, where we gave talks at
the Metadata forum, met over the weekend to hash out a lot
of issues, and prepared slides, which I presented to ISO SC32
Working Group 2 on January 28th (and they were well received).
