Many thanks. Ive downloaded a book about this from
http://www.oss.com/asn1/larmouth.html
and am reading it now. Not sure if its quite the same sort of thing
as I was talking about, but it looks quite useful and has been around
for the longest time. (It has videotex strings as a datatype!!)
