Hi,

Sure I can, since you guarantee that we'll certainly get a new
version by Monday (that was my reading of your email).

I do not think we have had that problem so far.

No, not at all. It is easy to change text, you
know :-)

A good point about publishing OFTEN is exactly that
we will have a concrete material to discuss and
change, if necessary, and any problems can be
solved before every small snippet of the text
depends on the problematical parts.

It is not at all the idea that you have to make it right
on the first blow. Instead, we should

- publish often
- concentrate all the discussions on the existing
draft, changes and improvements to that, not
   just general talk.

We cannot do the latter unless we do the former.

But this prolificness is pseudo: we are not making
any improvements to the text, just having fun.

We need to talk about the text - by sending our suggested
changes and versions.

Right now nobody has a good way to do that, since we kind
of decided to wait for your input.

It is fine with me to wait until Monday, though,
but I'd really prefer to get an early version before.

As mentioned, I do believe in publishing often
and not being afraid of draftness. This is how you
make software in a group, for example: people must
get access to each other's code often, or efficiency
drops dramatically.

Being very careful about what you say suits politics,
but IMHO not groupwork on software or a spec :-)
