That is an excellent point of agreement:

As for the terms "abstract" and "concrete", those happen to be
the words that John McC. used and some other groups adopted.
The way those words are used in the SCL document does not imply
that this is how we or anybody else should interpret those terms
for any other purpose in any other application.

As I have said in many other email notes, if certain words
are misleading or confusing, I would prefer to choose
different words than to waste time fighting.  The methodology
is much more important than the choice of words.
