[SCL] SCL-related work

Hi,

Although I have not been contributing to SCL for a while,
there is some work you may want to look at. Basically,
I took a divergent path and wrote my SCL-like language,
both the abstract part and a controlled natural language on
top of it.

You may want to look at the site with partial, unfinished
drafts:
http://www.ttu.ee/it/elm/

This work is conducted as a part of a larger project,
with the goal to use these languages in two real
applications, one this autumn and one next year. This
will involve a lot of implementation work, and I
had an urgent need for a language I could use for
the projects.

The languages are not finished yet, but I am working
intensely to get a complete first draft for a deadline
this weekend.

I am not yet promoting this site and drafts outside
the SCL list yet, but will do it starting this weekend
(assuming I'll manage to write up all the necessary
details and missing parts).

I'd be happy for any comments and suggestions,
and hopefully some of the ideas you will find
there can be used in SCL and CL projects.

It would be great if we could eventually merge
this work and SCL somehow, but as far as I have
understood, SCL has a different, complex agenda,
and is not primarily oriented towards producing
something usable fast.

Regards,
              Tanel Tammet
