Mini-Conference on Philosophy and Wine
St. Francis Hotel
Union Square, San Francisco
Wednesday, April 4, 2007

Having hosted two SPP meetings back in the '90s, I'd like to invite
all SPP members to something a bit different, the second-ever
philosophy and wine conference. It will be held in conjunction with
the Pacific APA meeting in San Francisco (no special registration
required). The morning session will be of most interest to SPP
people. It concerns sensing tastes and aromas and issues in
describing, categorizing, and analyzing them. The afternoon session
shifts to aesthetics (taste in the other sense): evaluation and
appreciation of wine. Though focused on wine, most of the issues to
be discussed at this conference are not wine-specific.

Here's a link to the full program:

There are still some places left for the tutored tasting at the end.
Use to the link at the bottom of the page.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I hope to see you there.

Cheers,

Kent
