TS Booth volunteers needed, new issue, and thanks!

      We're looking for people to be at the Touchstone Magazine and 
Radio booth at Forward Fest in downtown Bryan on Saturday, April 1 11 
AM - 5 PM.  Volunteering for even an hour or so will help us out.  We 
will be giving out information on writing for the magazine, on 
becoming a commentator and/or producer for the radio show, and on how 
to help us out in other ways.  Copies of the current and recent past 
issues of magazine will be available at our booth at Forward Fest as 
well.  Let me know by return email if you can be at our booth on April 1.
      By the way, our first issue (Volume 16, No. 1) of the magazine 
for the new year is finally being printed.  Much to our surprise, our 
longtime printer, Todd Web Press in Smithville, recently went out of 
business.  It's taken us a few weeks to locate a new, reliable 
printer that does quality work at a reasonable price.  We're hoping 
to have the new issue available and on the streets during the week of March 27.
      Finally -- many, many thanks to all who helped or purchased 
something at our recent garage sale.  Unfortunately, because we 
didn't have any "big ticket" items to sell this time the amount we 
made was down considerably from some recent years in the 
past.  However, we did make some money to help out with the magazine 
and radio show (and certainly every bit helps -- it costs us well 
over $1000 to print 2500 copies of the magazine and we have some 
other expenses as well).  I hope all who helped out had an enjoyable 
time.  I know I did. Thanks again to all!
